The eyebrows are rendered by a pronounced arched line. The eyes are finely outlined. Perfect curls cover Lord Buddha's head and his elongated earlobes reflect his royal origins. Buddha in Sanskrit means "Enlightened One". He represents an individual who has reached a perfect state of consciousness and knowledge. A large round hoop has been carved into the back of the piece so that you may hang it with a wire onto a wall. The bottom of the piece is flat and balanced so it may rest on a table, mantel, floor, or any flat surface.
