He is seated in meditation gesture or dhyana mudra and is seated on a single lotus throne. In his hands he is holding the treasure vase or kalasha, one of the eight auspicious symbols which possesses the quality of spontaneous manifestation, because however much treasure is removed from the vase it remains perpetually full. The highly ornate golden vase he is holding has three petals around its upper rim as a symbol of the Three Jewels of the Buddha, dharma and sangha. An elegant an colorful piece!
